Scope of work: Finishing works.
Renovation of the bathroom for a young male client designed by an architect we cooperate with, Zuzanna Lawera.
The works required creating a boxing for a concealed wc system and all the plumbing as well as a niche in the shower wall with a tiled shelf, which required 45 degree chamfered corners to tiles. The shower area required an upstand and a raised floor to facilitate a slot drain the client wanted. The suspended ceiling that was put in had to be stopped short to create a shelf for LED strip lighting providing a hue down the back shower wall. The bathroom was tiled with 80x80cm tiles in two colours and finished with epoxy grout. The wooden furniture provides warmth and the white wall and ceiling brighten up the space.
Centralna Park
Scope of work: Finishing works.
The owners of the apartment purchased it as shell and core. They had a good idea of what they wanted the place to look like and what products they wanted to use but needed someone to carry out the finishing works. Aside from painting and organising air conditioning, we have been appointed to make slight adjustments to plumbing, then to waterproof, tile and finish the bathroom.
Domaradz, Podkarpacie
Scope of work: Renovation works / Finishing works.
The owner of a house in Podkarpacie asked us to insulate the attic. The work required repairs to the roof membrane, construction of a frame containing 30 cm of insulation, installation of a vapor barrier and fire-resistant plasterboard in case the attic was ever converted into a habitable space in the future. After jointing, the surfaces were skimmed and painted. The biggest challenge was the finishing works around the elements of the roof structure.
Zamenhofa, Kraków
Scope of work: Renovation works.
The contract required renovation of the staircase walls damaged by a leak in the roof and flooding due to a burst pipe in one of the apartments. Additionally, it was necessary to repair cracks that had occurred over the years of use of the tenement house and to box out the new roof window reveals. The entire staircase has been refreshed and painted.
