The design and renovation of a 26 m2 studio for rent with a mezzanine was quite a challenge. The kitchen and bathroom needed full renovation, and the high mezzanine required stairs instead of a ladder. The apartment is on the ground floor, has different levels and lots of nooks and crannies. By unifying the colours, filling the recesses with closed cabinets and adding lighting, the space became brighter and acquired a Scandinavian atmosphere. The apartment was furnished and prepared for a new tenant to move in.
